UA swimming and diving guide third in the nation

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 2007-08 University of Arkansas swimming and diving media guide was recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America as the third-best in the nation it was announced this week. The third-place national finish was the first media guide honor in Lady Razorback swimming and diving history. This year’s guide was written, designed and typeset by graduate assistant Deanna Werner with assistance from associate athletic director Bill Smith. The annual media guide includes 80 pages of biographies, best performances, history, records and awards for the Lady’Back swimming and diving team. Auburn won the contest followed by Texas A&M. Arkansas’ media guide finished ahead of Tennessee, Notre Dame and Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Louisville’s guide earned Best Cover honors. The CoSIDA publication award is another in a long line of success by the Arkansas media relations office. Most recently the Lady’Back 2008 gymnastics guide won Best in the Nation.
