FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ soccer team closes its four-game homestand on Sunday with a 1 p.m. Southeastern Conference match against Kentucky.
The Wildcats lead the all-time series 10-3-2, including a 3-2-1 advantage in Fayetteville. Arkansas earned a 0-0, double-overtime tie last year in Lexington.
Entering the week, Arkansas was second in the SEC with 6.83 saves per game while Kentucky was tied for third with six shutouts.
"Kentucky is on the same track as us," head coach Erin Aubry says. "They are trying to build. They do a good job getting a lot of faces into the game."
Promotions for Sunday’s game include the first fans entering the stadium receiving a free set of face stickers. There will also be a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Hog Heaven.
Following the Kentucky contest, Arkansas is on the road for games at Mississippi State on Oct. 15 and at Ole Miss on Oct. 17.
