Applications are well under way and we are all excited about a new year of camp.
Some quick points that will hopefully help with the application process this year………
I have been getting quite a few requests to ‘hold spots’ for applicants for the soccer camp – unfortunately, we will not be able to do that this year. We had quite a few people on the waiting list last year that did not get into camp, but had all of their paperwork completed. I felt that was a little unfair to them…..so this year, camp applications will be filled when an application is received with payment. That being said, you do not need to have your medical form completed and submitted at the time of application – just the application form itself.
Medical Form Update
1) If your child has had a physical in the past 12 months (from the date of the camp) you do not need a new physical. A copy of that physical will suffice – just fill out the ‘Permission to Treat’ and Health Insurance Information on the medical form and submit.
2) If your child does need a physical and you cannot get an appointment for more than a couple of weeks (a few months is not uncommon) submit your application without the medical portion. That way your spot is secure. Submit the medical portion sometime before the start of camp.
Hopefully, this will help the application process for all. Remember – we cannot ‘hold spots’ this year…….submit your applications before we fill up!
