FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas women’s golf team and head coach Shauna Estes-Taylor welcomed back several former Razorbacks in the program’s first Alumni Weekend. Estes-Taylor and @RazorbackWGolf is celebrating 19 seasons of competition at Arkansas and several former players returned to play golf, tailgate and attend the Razorback football game against Texas A&M on Saturday. Former player Stacy Lewis is certainly the most recognized face in this weekend’s crowd. Lewis, who will be recognized at the quarter break of the football game, is an LPGA Player of the Year and won the British Open this season. Also returning for the Alumni Weekend is Adrienne Mucci, the program’s first-ever individual medalist. Mucci won the Pepperdine Wave Invitational. The program’s first signee, Lisa Cornwell made the trip. Cornwell works in sports broadcasting and is the founder and host of SEC Press Pass in Little Rock, Ark. Other alumni who returned this weekend include Gena Johnson Baumgarner, Laura Kennan Bennett, Brittany Lavy, Lucy Nunn, Tiffany Phelps, Meagan Roberts, Melissa Murray Rutledge and Victoria Vela.
