World Outdoor Championship Viewing Information

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas track and field fans will be able to watch former Razorback athletes compete at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in Helsinki, Finland on Aug. 6-14 thanks to unprecedented coverage by IAAF, USA Track and Field (USATF), the World Championships Sports Network (WCSN), and Dentsu Inc. In total, more than 70 hours of event coverage will be available to U.S. fans via national broadcast on the PAX television network, regionally through Comcast, and online via the WCSN Web site.
Fifty-plus hours of live coverage will be webcast for $4.95 at the web site of WCSN. All material on will be archived, so fans can view the action from Helsinki at any time – including live, during the meet from August 6-14. A subscription will provide a high-quality feed, along with tech support and viewing the webcast will require subscribers to have a broadband Internet access at a speed of 350 kilobytes per second.
WCSN also will provide subscribers to online access to the one-hour highlight show that will be telecast each day on the PAX cable network. Fans interested in pre-registering for the Webcast should go to to sign up.
Additionally regional television coverage will be provided by Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia, Pa., Baltimore/Washington, and Northern and Central California, Comcast Sports Southeast in Atlanta, Ga., and Comcast Local in Detroit, Mich.
