2013 || INDOOR: NCAA Champion (heptathlon)…All-America First Team…SEC Field Athlete of the Week (Jan. 29)…school-record 6,175 points at the NCAA Championships…became No. 3 scorer in collegiate history…score represents No. 4 all-time collegiate score…established personal bests in four—60m, 60mH, long jump, shot put—of the seven events at the national meet…opened season with winning total of 6,042 points at the Razorback Team Invitational…eclipsed 6,000-point mark for first time. OUTDOOR: All-America First Team…All-SEC Second Team…finished eighth in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships with 7,933 points…just 22 points shy of school record…posted personal-best marks in four—100m, 110mH, high jump, pole vault—of the 10 events at the national meet…earned runner-up points at the SEC Championships.

2012 || INDOOR: Lazas captured first-team All-America honors following a bronze performance in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships. During the two-day, seven-event competition, he scored a personal-best total of 5,930 points. He established personal bests of 8.35 in the 60-meter hurdles and 24-5.5 in the long jump at the national meet. Lazas opened the postseason with 5,773 points and a fourth-place finish in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships. He completed his first heptathlon of the season with an NCAA auto mark of 5,920 points at the Razorback Invitational. He finished in second place at the meet and collected personal bests in four of the seven events with marks of 7.01 at 60 meters, 2:45.34 at 1,000 meters, 17-0.75 in the pole vault and 47-1 in the shot put. OUTDOOR: Lazas finished in third place in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships with a school-record performance of 7,955 points. He finished the national meet with six season-best marks including personal bests of 4:31.33 at 1,500 meters, 15.12 in the 110-meter hurdles and 6-6.25 in the high jump. Lazas was the SEC champion in the decathlon, the program’s first-ever SEC title in the event. He finished the conference meet with 7,778 points, four event wins—pole vault, long jump, shot put and javelin—and three personal bests with marks of 16-10.75 in the pole vault, 24-9.25 in the long jump and 47-7.25 in the shot put. As the youngest competitor in the field, Lazas finished eighth in the decathlon at the USA Olympic Trials with 7,660 points. For his work in the classroom, Lazas earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2011 || INDOOR: In his first season as a Razorback, Lazas re-wrote the program's history book in regards to the heptathlon. It began at the Razorback Invitational where he first re-set the school record with a two-day performance of 5,509 points. During the event, he turned in a season-best mark in the long jump of 24-0.75. Lazas re-established his own school mark with a second-place performance at the SEC Championships and his total of 5,764 points. He set three personal bests during the conference meet with a 7.11 in the 60 meters, 2:47.71 at 1,000 meters and a clearance of 6-6.75 in the high jump. With his effort at the SEC Championships, Lazas also set the American junior record for the heptathlon, replacing the previous mark of 5,478 set in 2007 by Mark Morrison. Lazas earned a bid into the NCAA Championships where he earned Second-Team All-America accolades with a 14th-place finish in the heptathlon. He scored 5,596 points at the national meet and set personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles (8.59) and shot put (43-7). OUTDOOR: In his first collegiate decathlon, Lazas set the school record with 7,542 points over two rainy days at the John McDonnell Invitational. During the competition, he set a personal best of 44-1.5 in the shot put. On the heels of his performance, Lazas was selected as the SEC Freshman of the Week. At the SEC Championships, he earned his second SEC All-Freshman and All-SEC Second Team recognition of the year with a runner-up effort in the decathlon. Lazas scored 7,703 points at the conference meet with the help of personal bests of 16-8.75 in the pole vault and 136-3 in the discus. For the third consecutive competition, he upped his own school record with 7,802 points and a 10th-place finish in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships. In addition to the school record, Lazas also improved upon his own American junior record which he originally set at the SEC Championships. During the national meet, he set four personals with his efforts in the 400 meters (50.58), 1,500 meters (4:36.34), 110-meter hurdles (15.29) and long jump (24-3). Lazas continued his season into the summer schedule where he won decathlon gold medals at the USA Junior Championships and Pan Am Junior Championships. His point total of 8,016 at the USA Junior Championships is an American junior record and the No. 2 all-time performance using junior-size implements. Lazas' hard work carried over into the classroom where he was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

AT BRENTWOOD HS: Kevin Lazas was a member of Brentwood High School's two-time state champion team and the 2009 state runner-up team. Lazas holds personal bests of 7,510 in the decathlon, 3,758 in the pentathlon, 23-2.5 in the long jump, 15-0 in the pole vault and 183-8 in the javelin. His decathlon best of 7,213 from 2009 was No. 1 in the nation. He holds the No. 2 point total in the nation in 2010 with his mark of 7,510. Lazas is a two-time AAU Junior Olympic and National Champion in the decathlon, the 2009 Tennessee State Champion in the decathlon and the 2009 Tennessee state runner-up in the pole vault. He was a 2008 and 2009 Nike Indoor All-American and was a member of Team USA and competed in the decathlon at the 2010 World Junior Championships.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 25, 1992, he is the son of Don and Kathy Lazas. He plans to major in business.
